Ours is a positive and supportive organization where we combine work with fun and put our hearts into everything we do. We welcome everyone, recognizing that each of us contributes our own unique experiences, skills and talents that make us a better organization.

Client Registration

During the school year, we are in need of volunteers to help us assemble and pack bags of food at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday mornings for our BackPack program. You’ll enjoy spending time with other volunteers while you help support this weekend food program for our area youngsters.

Do you like to drive and have a good safety record? We need drivers to pick up food and supplies from local grocery stores, warehouses, suppliers, and distribution sites. Drivers and loaders are needed most mornings of the week for these food pickups. We especially appreciate drivers who can lift between 30 and 40 pounds.

A member of each household visiting the food bank registers with our friendly office staff, who ensure that they are welcomed and assisted. If you have computer skills and a warm way with people, we would really value your help.

If so, you would enjoy assisting us with the setup and operation of our market days from 9am - 1pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays from 1pm-5pm and 9am-noon on Saturdays at our Sahuarita location. Tasks include setting up the market, moving boxes of food, greeting visitors, and distributing items to them as well as helping them shop and transport food to their vehicles.
