The Sahuarita Food Bank offers several food distribution programs, all of which are free. Our programs are designed to provide fresh and nutritious food so those who are most at risk—seniors, children, single parents with children, the disabled, and families where the primary provider is unemployed or underemployed.
Limited-income residents may qualify for food boxes through The Emergency Food Assistance Program.
Visit us on Market Days—Thursdays from 1-5 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m.-noon.
Nutritionally at-risk students are provided with supplemental food for the weekend through our BackPack Program during the school year.
We distribute fresh seasonal produce from area growers to the entire community.
We screen for SNAP food stamp eligibility during our Thursday and Saturday market days.
Our satellite pantry at Summit View Elementary School operates twice monthly to serve area residents during the school year.
