OUR KITCHEN AND FOOD
What's happening in the kitchen?
Our commercial kitchen is always in action! Whether we are preparing for distribution, sorting grocery rescue, cooking meals, catering or holding classes, there's always something going on!
The Sahuarita Food Bank offers several food distribution programs, all of which are free. Our programs provide fresh and nutritious food to those who are most at risk—seniors, children, single parents with children, the disabled, and families where the primary provider is unemployed or underemployed.
Our catering program benefits the community by providing food for parties, businesses, etc. The food is prepared by volunteers and students under the direction and supervision of our Culinary Manager and all of the proceeds go back into the operations of the food bank.
Holiday Cookies and Charcuterie Boxes
Support the Sahuarita Food Bank by purchasing your holiday cookies and/or a festive charcuterie board from us! All proceeds go directly back into the food bank to support our operations. You can even take the credit for making these items. We won't tell!

Cookies come in a variety pack with 4 dozen cookies. Cookie boxes also come with recipe cards for every cookie.

Charcuterie boxes are a great gift or to bring to a party! Boxes come with a tree shaped cutting board, a variety of meats, cheese, fruits, nuts and crackers.
Orders close December 16th. Pickup your Cookies Friday, December 20th between 8am and 4pm. If this time doesn't work for you, please let us know! We are happy to make other arrangements!
Want to volunteer in the kitchen?

We also occasionally need help prepping for catering events and Meals2Go. If this is something you're interested in, click the button below or email our Culinary Manager with any questions.
