Send Tax Dollars to Organizations You Support!
Do you know that all Arizona taxpayers can direct where part of your state taxes are
going, if you claim two different tax credits--one for donations to any public schools and
a second for donations to any qualifying charitable organizations? These donations
usually cost you, the taxpayer, nothing as they reduce the tax you owe the State of
Arizona. And they provide essential funding to our local schools and charitable
organizations.
Here’s how this works for two of our local organizations:

-
Arizona taxpayers may be eligible for a dollar-for-dollar Public School tax credit
for the Sahuarita Unified School District. You may file for a tax credit for up to
$200 if you are filing individually and up to $400 if married and filing jointly.

In addition (and separate from the public school credit), as an Arizona taxpayer
you may be eligible for a dollar-for-dollar tax credit for Sahuarita Food Bank &
Community Resource Center—up to $470 if filing individually and $938 if married
and filing jointly.
Tax form 321 is available here. Make sure to use Qualifying
Charitable Organization code 22050.
If you use a tax program or tax preparer, make sure to consider and/or mention these
credits.
Your community—our students, our hungry community members, and residents
seeking job skills and better jobs will appreciate your support!
